Ethical Leadership and Employee Stress

A good manager will mitigate the impact of a toxic company culture and stressful work, both of which can impact on family life (known by psychologists as work-family conflict)

A study from San Diego State University found that managers who demonstrated ethical leadership, exhibited through genuine two-way communication, positive reinforcement and emotional support, not only mitigated the effects of work-family conflict, but also helped alleviate stress in the workplace.
